Call me Kowalski, like the guy in Vanishing Point

I try to start a series of new topic. Maybe for each film if you guys appreciate it - let me know.
I'm very much into collecting for almost 30 years now and think that some would like to see how the films were promoted around the world. This topic then might also serve as reference to complete collections here and there.
For ex. I'd love to see the complete set of US 8x10 Color stills (mini Lobby cards). Or Spanish LC's from the 1st release (do they exist? I only know the ones from the 70's).

So for the start here's the German set of 25 LC's. Very hard to find. In its entirety impossible anyway, since those big German sets of handtinted glossy stills nobody sells complete (first not many HAVE a complete set, 2nd it just would be too expensive). Took me 20 years to get them all together. Even though the Poncho has the wrong color I love them. They're real heavy photos handcolored and then sealed glossy. German distributors spend a lot on those sets in the 50's and 60's and because of that did not print that many of course (more or less 70-100 sets. Most were destroyed as 'our' National Screen Service didn't store them for years and decades. For rereleases new and chaeper ones were printed and those first rate memorabilias became scarce).

The German title falls back to Leone's original one: Two Magnificent Rogues

Good to have.
It is complete.
Italian re-release Bustas from the mid 70's (belongs to the CASARO artwork poster, where they all stand next to each each other).

Do you have the one on the upper left? That one is really expensive.
So those are two first release 2-foglios (100x140cm), a re-release 2-foglio, a first release locandina (insert) and another re-release 2-foglio (altogether there are about six different Italian 2-foglios).

Then there's the large (120x160, many reprints around!) and the small (60x80) French ones.
And the two nice Spanish first-releases. In the middle a Mexican LC.

In a few weeks we have the whole world assembled here :)

Here's half of the Spanish RR-set (I guess it is a set of 8 or 12). Anybody ever saw first release LC's from Spain??

And here is set A (six cards) & B (5 cards) from France. There's probably a set C around which would bring the set to 16 LC's. Can anybody confirm that?

I'll replaced it with a better pic soon.

Don't own any of those, just adding to your topic post. Here are some more I forgot to add.

We're closin'in :)

There's the Casaro 2-foglio which came with the six 'green' photo-bustas in the mid-sixties, the red one is a 4-foglio (200x140cm), probably early 70's. The glorious japanese 2-sheet door panel and a thai(?) poster I never saw. Cool.

Here's the German which unlike the great set isn't spectaculer, and the US 1-sheet:

eh, Amigo, that's a great!

The Danish I never saw. Next to it on the right is a 'Soggeto', those are the Italian 2-sheet Photo-bustas (100x70cm).
Probably 3-5 of those exist. THey came with the four Photo-bustas you asked about. I don't have any of those, they're very hard to get and even in Italy really expensive. I suppose a set of 12 or 10 (plus those soggetos). We're talking first release here.

The UK Quad is a re-release. To proof myself, the I'm able to let go things, I gave away the first release 10 years ago to a far- away buddy of mine. Stupid Mike :). So I don't have a scan, but it is much better - in color..

The LO MALO.. is an Argentinian one.
There's also the US half sheet (22x28inch).
The Lobby Cards aren't bad but reversed angles!
The TENDERNESS I don't know. South Africa? Australia?

Great pictures guys.  Here's the Japanese poster. Note the title in English has the literal translation...Good Ugly Bad. The Clint face shot is actually taken from FAFDM and the gun is added.

Oh I get it.... the idea of these lobby cards, as with the german ones, was to say "We'll show you photos from the film showing all the main scenes and story from the film so we can spoil it for you just before you go into the theater". I mean that last one showing Angel Eyes being blown away...whats all that about......its so half way through the film you can think to yourself...Oh I know whats gonna happen These three are gonna fight it out for the gold and one of the other two kills Angel Eyes and then Blondie's gonna hang Tuco.........WELL!!!! am I right?
