Rub me the wrong way, and I'll go off in your face

During the trailers before POTC (a PG-13 flick) the Die Hard 4 trailer was played.

This worries me because they don't usually advertise restricted movies unless you are about to watch an R rated movie.
This could be a sign that DH4 is a definate PG-13.

What a shame. I cannot believe Fox would stoop so low. Die Hard is not a PG-13 Franchise. This is a bad sign, and it's not gonna go to well with fans.

If it is PG-13, I won't be watching it.

you can say "motherfucker" at least once in a PG-13 movie.

This is still pissing me off. One of my favorite characters ever is going to be toned down to please a wide range audience. What a crock.  >:(

Yeah but you know all the swearing will be put back in for the Obligatory Die Hard 4 Uncut Unrated Edition or the 'Yippie Ki Yay' edition as it'll most likely be called.

Yeah, you could be right. Don't get me wrong, I don't need swearing to like the movie, but we're talking about Die Hard where John McClane was a trash mouth. haha it just fits his character and to change him up now doesn't make much sense.

I wonder if they filmed the movie Rated R though with the swearing? This is what I wonder.

Most likely, they would have shot an R-Rated version then done another take for a 'family version' which is used for airline screenings etc.

I cannot believe this. What in god's name is FOX thinking?!?! This will surely back fire on them. Die Hard is an R Rated Franchise. John McClane is an R Rated character, PERIOD. I am extremely upset about this.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
