Another weak effort by Ty Hardin, in spite of the production values of the movie (lots of extras, costumes, bit players, score).  Ty (sportin' his Kenny Rogers look) is a professional boxer whom Rossi Stuart, an outlaw betting against him, accuses of cheating and tries to kill every way because he ruined him. The main actions are Stuart gang capturing first Hardin, then doing a bank heist and finally kidnap Hardin's  daughter. There are some minor plot love threads involving Hardin, his son and labourers. But all of this never coalesces in a well told story. There is not a single element of originality except, maybe, in the absurd scene of the peones advancing to the spiritual composed by Micalizzi. The score is good and is probably worth a listening to itself, disjointed from the images.

I thought that Ty Hardin looked a lot like Kenny Rogers in this too. It started out good with it's witty moments and spaghetti western-type music. I always like clever animals in movies so I enjoyed Ringo playing dead for Hardin. But the longer the movie went on the more my interest in it waned.

You're Jinxed, Friend, You've Met Sacremento
If I have, I sure don't remember it.

The IMDb has this listed as  You're Jinxed, Friend You've Met Sacremento
The titles on the film read  You're Jinxed, Friend You've Met Sacremento

Only titoli has it right (commas on either side of "Friend").

Well done.

That's what you get, Drink, for not appreciating the genius of When You Read This Letter.
