As Lucas has shat all over his own legacy with endless tinkering, rendering the originals worthless in their current manifestations, along with his "prequels" being among the worst films ever made, does anybody care anymore?

That he will die astoundingly wealthy seems to be all he is interested in.

I love the Old Trilogy. The New... not so.

There is probably a topic about these movies somewhere, I cannot find it.

Anyway: not the first time I hear this, but this time it sounds "official": they're putting them in 3D, starting with Episode 1.

(French article, but I'm sure finding an english one isn't too hard)

No doubt they'll have two seconds of "lost" footage spliced in to justify packaging them as new editions.

You would be surprised what can one find in the Movie Index thread.

Well, tell you what, if they put Sebastian Shaw back in, I might consider buying it.

I tried to answer something smart, or at least fun. All I came up with is the truth: I feel a bit dumb.

Star Wars - 7/10 - Hadn't seen this the whole way through since I was ten or eleven. Not much to say really, as many homages as a Tarantino film, good special effects, poor acting aside from Guinness and Cushing, nice action scenes, great music, goofy writing. Enjoyed it in a "I won't mind waiting another ten years to see it again" way.

I can go a lifetime without ever seeing it again, maybe even two or three.

I've been preparing myself for a marathon for some time now, it's been a while and I really need the force and spirit of the movies to flow through me again. That's too low, Groggy. Too, way, low.

Indeed, I didn't properly analyze the intellectual profundity of R2D2's beeping. My sincerest apologies.

I wonder if the theatrical versions will be released on bluray. I almost punched a hole in my tv when Hayden Christiansen (hopefully I misspelled his name) appeared at the end of Jedi.

Claudia, we need you to appear in LOST COMMAND. It's gonna revolutionize the war genre. What did you think of the script?
