I remember a discussion on DUCK YOU SUCKER not having the original mono on the upcoming sp edition but it is in fact on there. If this has already been mentioned or discussed, I apologize.

Here is a link to the ANTHOLOGY SET. The single two disc editions are also available.

Excellent. I want to hear the original correct music cues.

Plus I would get the R1 DVD just for the cover art. James Coburn looks so badass in that photo.   Cool

I ordered the individual 2-discs for FOD, FAFDM, and DYS from amazon, and they've already shipped! YAY! SO glad they have the original mono.

When you see DYS for the first time, let us know what your opinions are.

I've already seen it and loved it, on-demand had the full-length version available last year. Though I will be seeing it for the first time in W I D E S C R E E N. Seeing a Leone movie for the first time in widescreen is like seeing it for the first time though. Afro

If you loved it in pan-and-scan, you'll love it even more in widescreen.

First time I saw DYS was on a crappy p-and-s VHS and thought it was just okay. I saw it a few years later in widescreen and now it's my second favorite Leone film.

Yeah, the first time I watched it was on the shorter version on VHS, and while I did like it a lot then, it wasn't till I saw the full 157 minute version that I really loved it. Been dying to see it in it's OAR. It could quite possibly be my favorite Leone movie.

AC, you were so desperate to see me eat my words  Grin . Just read the DVD savant review and have had no word on a mono for DYS on the reviewer only the 5.1 remix but it has been mentioned elsewhere. I am not a poor looser hehehehhe

Everywhere I see the new set there is a mono track listed. However, I've only found reviews for the previous sets. The review on DVDsavant is from March, BTW. Grin

It's funny, I go to Best Buy today to buy this and they say they don't have it. I then go to Barnes and Nobles and they tell me it hasn't been released yet. I go to Borders and they tell me the same thing, not released yet. Ok, not relased yet, then how come everywhere I read, it says it's released today!?!?! I'm pissed off. I want my hands on this Anthology ASAP!

You should have ordered it on the internet. I received my set Friday, although that will be irrelevant in a few days time anyways.
