Indeed, I don't buy all that Oedipus-stuff...
Im sure you don't !

Seriously Il Buono ,I strongly believe that the richness and the future of this great website are the newbies. Unfortunately too many time their first quote is also their last one because some "4 stars top guns" break them.
I'm very happy that Walter talk about Freud and Nephilim,Dizzt, others newbies talk about Baudrillard or Antonioni. Let's lesson them and share new ideas with them.
Amen  ! Wink

You gonna lesson me, boy? Angry

Seriously, I'm not a Freud freak. But I do love to speculate in movie characters (why did he do that? how come he is like that? was this a clue to something else? etc).  Leone is especially inviting, as his films are both fun to watch, as well as rich and filled with unanswered questions.   Smiley

I will be here often, don't worry.

Please Aaronson, I don't like the tone in your messages...  My last goal in life is to break newbies.  I'm never out to break anyone.  I'm just a guy who likes Leone's movies like all of the members I believe, and I'm glad there are so many, newbies or not, it doesn't matter to me.  And when I give responses like these before on this topic it's supposed to be some kind of wink (I wouldn't call it joke) and not to be taken seriously or to offend anyone.

So please don't be so full of yourself because you have read the entire psychology and philosophy departement of your local library.  And if I did offend Walter than I'm the first to apologize to him.

I was not offended in any way. If I was easily offended, i wouldn't visit forums, but I haven't registered anything malicious here at all.

I was kind of hoping that my new signature message would discourage this....
