Leone is god

So many to choose from ('Jill's America' is hard to beat) but my fave has always been
'Morton' - which is now (thankfully) available on the extended import cds.  I used to
tape record(!) the scene where his character gazes into a painting of the Pacific just
to be able to play back the achingly plaintive music Ennio provides. Gorgeous stuff.

So what's your fave, and why?

"Man With a Harmonica" by far. But don't be ashamed, I did the same thing with the Morton theme before. That's a beautiful piece of music, and it's a shame they didn't include it on the original soundtrack.

In everyone's life there is a "Summer of '42"

That's a tough one. Each piece melds so perfectly to the scenes. :-\

"Finale"- Once Upon a Time in the West...composed by Ennio Morricone
"Man With The Harmonica"- Once Upon a Time in the West...composed by Ennio Morricone
"The Grand Finale"- Edward Scissorhands...composed by Danny Elfman
"Deborah's Theme"- Once Upon a Time in America...composed by Ennio Morricone
"Off To War"- Legends of the Fall...composed by James Horner

These are my top five composed tracks at the moment.

"As a judgement" is perfect piece of music. It fits perfectly with Henry Fonda's character Frank. Also, in the combination with a massacre scene at McBains ends up with a ultimate cinematic expirience.
Of course Jill's America is equally great, main theme Once upon a Time in the West also.

"Man with The Harmonica"

I thought this would be the obvious choice?

Cheyenne's theme is a close second and the darker version of this (can't recall name) is just as good.

Are you thinking perhaps of "The First Tavern"?

It's perfect timing, large one...

More of them, hard to decide...

Cheyenne and Farewell to Cheyenne
Man With The Harmonica
Morton - yes, it's an awesome piece of music
Finale ( :'()

...and some others as well, these are just those I listen to most often.

There are two kinds of films in this world:those which stay, even when their genre is forgotten, and those which don't.

"Bad Orchestra".................j/k

Any variation of the main theme/Jill's. I really can't decide. For the sake of it, I will say "Jill's America".

Claudia, we need you to appear in LOST COMMAND. It's gonna revolutionize the war genre..

What about A Dimly Lit Room? That's beautiful music. Funny how Bad Orchestra follows.
