Is it Pan-and-Scan?

Not only am I low on funds, but I can't find it in a store outside of the box set which I don't want to buy.
I could always get it online.
And I don't THINK it's pan and scan, as Encore Western often has other movies in the OAR.

I couldn't find
DYS
in stores at all. I think the retailers really missed the boat on that one. A lot of people would have various editions of the other dollars films. I'm sure they would want the new edition as well. If someone were inclined to buy the films individually, chances are they probably would pick up
DYS
as one of their first selections because of its unavailability in the past. I was just quite surprised that the Anthology was difficult to find in stores. Not a great effort by MGM. Everyone was right on the other thread....order online.

The first week or too upon the Anthology release, I did not find it anywhere in the store. Now all of the sudden in the past couple weeks, I've spotted it in a few places. I've also seen the films sold as individual as well except Duck, You Sucker. This is strange to me. It's such a brilliant film.

Do you know how lucky you are?? (even though you haven't been lucky enough to see this yet..)
Encore Westerns NEVER showed stuff like that before. The only Leone film i noticed was played in that channel was GBU.
I have never known of DYS playing in Encore Westerns.

Actually I heard that movie played on Encore a few years back.
Or maybe I'm thinking of something else, I don't know.
What would kick ass is having the movie shown on AMC. I know they'll butcher the film, but so many people watch AMC that maybe DYS will get some much deserved attention.

Well the version on Encore wasn't in OAR. I was going to buy it with the $20 I found on the ground (or basically stole, but you didn't hear it from me), though I decided on purchasing a few other things when I noticed Netflix finally got it. I will rightfully be able to watch this soon!

Netflix rocks!! Their selection keeps getting better and better, they have just about every movie ever released..!! (excluding a large number of obscure ones of course..)
But their western selection is impressive.

Encore Westerns sometimes shows the films in letterbox, sometimes in pan & scan. Recently, for the 48-hour weekend of the American cowboy, they showed Leone films (not Once/West) both ways, and GBU in extended version letterbox as well.

It plays more often then some would think. Probably every six months or so.

I want to buy it too but I can`t find it in any store (in my country), yet...
But I wanted to ask you something else rrpower - what you mean when you say: "I can't find it in a store
outside of the box set
which I don't want to buy".
Why don`t you want to buy it? Is there some diference, or what...? Would you be so kind to explene it to me...
