Last record I listened to was the "In Lucifer's Grip" 7" by Crime Desire and the Oh Home "World Mask" tape.

The first one is a great punk record. The second, a psych-ambient duo? Don't know how else to put it. Either way, both great releases.

Frampton Comes Alive - 4/5
I liked this one, although a couple of songs were waaay too long.  I don't particularly like taht unless the song is phenomenal.  Still, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Peter Frampton.

Billy Joel Greatest Hits, Vol 1 (Disk 1) - 5/5
No need to explain that rating...

Stone Free, A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix - 4/5
I was expecting this to be worse, but it's actually not too bad at all.  What first interested me was the the line-up of artists for the covers.  Even then i had some doubts, but most of them are actually quite good.

Band of Gypsys - 5/5  O0
Loved it, never heard some of the songs before.  "Power to Love" is excellent.

Electric Ladyland - 4/5
Not as good as Band of Gypsys, but certainly not bad at all, no surprise there.  I liked the lyrics to Gypsy Eyes.

No kidding.  Who Knows and Machine Gun are by far the best tracks on there, though.

Does this recent Jimi Hendrix kick have to do with our "Guitar God" debate?

No.  My opinions have been well formed WITHOUT your help, thank you.

The glance that makes holes in the silver screen

I just noticed that this thread is great for advertising some of my favorite albums, since it's not specified anywhere whether the album has to be new for you or not.

Pearl Jam - Ten - 9.5/10
True classic that deserves it's position  O0. Songs vary from aggressive slamming to psychedelic floating, and that happens also inside some songs. And Vedder's singing is phenomenal. I'd say I prefer their next album, though.

You mean Rearviewmirror? I'm not a big fan, but it's the only one i've heard of theirs.  And for a while I did like it.  Thing is, Pearl Jam would be great, if there weren't hundreds of bands out there that are hundreds of times better... :)
No offense.

Rearviewmirror is in fact a song on their next album Vs.??? Or maybe that's what you meant, but it would be hard to believe that you hadn't heard any other of their songs.

I think you're mistaken... Rearviwmirror is also the name of their greatest hits album.  And THAT album is the only one i've heard..
