Oh, oh, oh, oh!!! :D

I quoted the wrong post! That's what happened. Whoops. I meant to quote this post:
So you'd rather turn this into an over-praiseville?

yawn

The misunderstanding is due to me being a n00b on this boards functions... ouch, that stings in the gut.

In everyone's life there is a "Summer of '42"

It just goes to show you how important the "spoken" word and facial expressions are during a
conversation. Often, one's interpretation of the written word is mis-guided. The smileys sometimes
help. ;)

Is it any wonder that 'OUATITW' (and the rest of Sergio's magnificent films) received such critical maulings when they first came out.....most - if not all of the critics couldn't even be bothered getting their facts right!

I don't mind reading a critics review, just so long as the critic in question has something 'constructive' to say....
....As for a critic who pulls a film apart - without even getting the basic film synopsis correct - the less said the better!!

As an ex-journalist, I know that - when writing for anything, be it a newspaper, magazine etc.,  - the first rule is to ALWAYS get your facts right.....
Enough said..... 'OUATITW' is a masterpiece...But - then again - I'm biased, and think that Sergio Leone's films are ALL masterpieces!
Adios for now....
