noodles, do you plan on sending it to film festivals?

Oh, i'd love to, but :

1) i use musics and movies extracts, and i don't have the rights. We are working on it, but i seriously doubt i will have everything.
2) their are technical problems that make the movie sometimes hard to watch : the sound is sometimes very bad (even if we dubbed most of it).
3) it is quite professional and not bad, but it is far from beeing great... :(

For you, guys, it will be avaible on the Internet within 3 monthes. It's in French, but i think i'm gonna translate it and put subtitles...

And if you're interested, the movie was shown to a few hundred students in my shcool, and their was a standing ovation :) that was really great, even if I know that outside of the school people wouldn't have liked so much :)

(i thought that thread was dead  ;) )

out of the 3 i think that the first one is the major issue with music copyrights but the other dont seem that bad.And to solve the second problem just put missing dialouge or subtitles O0

Well the copyright issue is the main one. But, who knows, maybe we'll have the rights for very cheap, since it will never be shown to many many people...

I finally got to watch it and I gotta say: man, your movie rocks! O0 Eventhough I didn't understand what they said I think I understood the story rather well. Your storytelling through images is admirable. The use of movie clips was mostly great, I particularly liked the use of the Indiana Jones clips. The pacing was good; after the fast first minutes it slows down just at the right place. Towards the end I noticed a kind of pattern you seemed to use (slow waiting - fast action -kinda thing) but it's much better than having the same pace through the whole movie. Soundtrack was great, although sometimes a bit too underlining. The ending gave me goose pimples, but to be fair, you could show paint drying with that piece of music and it would look spectacular ;) The actors were very good, very natural in front of camera.

I recommend this movie to everyone O0

PS. Could you subtitle it in the future? And it would be handier if the second part started from where the first part ends (not 3-4 minutes earlier) :)

Thank you very much. I liked your comment a lot, because it is a nice one (first time somebody tells me "your movie rocks" :) ), and also because your criticisms are very interesting. Once again: thanks a lot, Moviesceleton.

Concerning the PS, yes i'm gonna out subtitles one of these days, and yes, i know for the few minutes at the end of part 1 :) (morever, the compression quality is not as good as part 2).
