Silenzio, looking at the Olberman thing again it comes to my attention that you two had similar theories but they aren't really the same.

Check it out.

I started, but I accidentally closed it instead of minimizing when I was halfway through the video (had to eat dinner, y'know).

My theory (well, what I wanted to happen) was that Harry would be one of the horcruxes, so the only way he could defeat voldemort would be to kill himself.

What was his?

The subplots were enough to amuse me.

The stuff in the Black estate was pretty cool agreed.
And Potter visiting Neville's mother (parent? can't recall) was a neat chapter.
But other than that it didn't sustain my interest. I read it just to finish it.

Yeah Nevilles parents at the hospital. So sad.

I remember quite liking the Fifth book.  After reading it I was thinking it was one of the best ones of the series, despite its distinct lack of a plot.

And, like the book, the movie has so far been the worst of the series.

But that's okay, it's what you are. A male organ. Now think of a harsher word for that and you'll be on the ball.  O0

It's really sad that the series has ended.  I hope we get more from J.K. Rowling.   O0

She is taking a break,  but she will come up an encyclopedia to tie up loose ends, and she will write a completly different book.

Think it should be left as is.
With her not willing to make a sequel or spin-off, she will be reduced to making books for learning magical creature language like troll language (Kevin must excel on this! ;D) and others.
Much like Tolkein I suspect.
Could be wrong though, she might pull something else out of the hat.

Well I'm not saying I want an eighth book. I'm just saying I don't want the series to, well, fade away.

Well you have the upcoming movies to look forward to. Not sure if your a fan of those. Personally I think everything after 2 can only be enjoyed by those who have read the books.

Maybe the 4th film is the exception. It came close to being a stand alone flick.

The films are ok. The first two I liked. The third I hated. The fourth and fifth were okay.

The movies are not great, though in they are going into a better direction, making them more character driven instead of wasting their time with putting in as much subplot as possible, dumbing them down, and the result is a family film full of two dementional characters.

But there will be a book that will tie up any loose end that happened after book 7, she actualy answered alot of unanswered questions.
