But there is this new version, finally with the title Duck, you sucker. What's the difference? Only the title?

That should be the one with the 20 mins cut out for the American Theatrical release. It's the right one.

As far as expenses and dvds go, I've seen worse. Once, I went into a shop and they were selling The Battle of Algiers... for $85.00. How's that for a bad price? I know it's Criterion, but that's ridiculous.

That's not that bad. . . on Amazon I saw they were selling a paperback copy of "Dangerous Mammals" (a cheap "scare little kids about killer animals" book, albeit one with much nostalgic value for me) for like $100. I mean really. . .  ???

The shop I was at was a cool place, but everything was overpriced.

The shop I was at was cool, but the dvd section (chalked w/ Criterion Releases) was very expensive.

I like Suncoast Video. I've actually gotten some pretty cheap DVD copies there. I got a copy of "Rent" for $8.88 when it was like 20 on the shelves (and no, it wasn't used). I've also bought "Day of the Jackal" and "The Wind and the Lion" for under ten bucks. However, they sell the cheap no-extras "Bridge on the River Kwai" DVD for like $26.99. I bought it from the same store two years ago for half that price. . . ???

As far as books go, I far prefer "Barnes and Noble" to much anything else. If nothing else, they can satisfy my Tazo Iced Tea fix. :D

I usually go to Borders, but I go to Barnes and Nobles for Harry Potter and stuff. Supposedly, they give you the book faster there.

I've always found Barnes and Noble to have more stuff. Plus they have a coffee house and (at the one I go to) a restaurant.

I've don't compare the two that much. My main attraction for going to Border's is that it's closer to me. Both Borders and Barnes and Nobles have coffee near me.
