hello, i'm italian and i don't know english very well but i try, so please forgive me and  i hope you understand me!
Gianni Minà is one of the greatest italian journalist; famous interviews with Mohammed Aĺ, the Beatles, Fidel Castro, Fellini, Maradona ecc...
He was the only journalist invited on Leone OUTA set and this is an incredible and ultrarare interview (in italian of course), the only interview about this movie during the acting!
you can to see De Niro to recite with the Morricone music for atmosphere! wait 1:35 min. after the two greatest italian commedian of the century (Troisi and Roberto Benigni)!
ok have a nice day, God bless you!

Welcome.  Thanks for post.  Didn't understand too much of the Italian but it was interesting to see Troisi, Sergio and De Niro in the clip.

Thanks for the explanation....  It's interesting to see footage of Sergio and De Niro on the set.  Just to see how they reacted and carried themselves in the interview.  It's particularly interesting to see any clips of Sergio in an interview or on the set because there's just not much out there like that.  Thanks again....

Yes... I have seen that one.  Thank you.  I always find it interesting to watch them.  Like the one you posted.  It does feel in a way like going back in time.  Nowadays everything gets to be recorded and documented much more.  A lot of times we see artists in film and music giving the same interview over and over and it seems to more than one program or interviewer....almost saying the same things.   But back then....just the twenty years or so, and also before....it seems less of it was recorded, saved and documented.  So when you see people like Leone and Troisi....their lifetimes were just too short....you appreciate it greatly.

i agree!
fortunately about Troisi there's a lot of tv material often replied on tv;
unfortunately this is not the same about Leone!
anyhow, life is very short and sometimes...interviews!
ciao.

Thanks for sharing.
As usual, Gianni Minà was too excited and did all the talking himself, instead of letting Bob and Sergio do the talking....
In any case, Minà has indeed been interviewing a lot of VIPs who for some reason became his firends, so much so that according to him, Bob De Niro even slept once on a couch at his home.
Many years ago, I once saw an interview by Minà with Sergio and Morricone sitting at his piano. Sadly, I haven't seen it since, it is probably buried somewhere in the RAI archives.  Sad

yes Leonardo, i saw Minà interview with Leone and Morricone sitting at  his piano, and another incredible, wonderful sequence with Minà, Leone, Morricone and Edda dell'Orso (soprano in Morricone originals score) singing Once Upon a Time in the West music, in Leones House with a lot of others people!
Minà have a great quantity of this tv materials! i hope he want to put this on DVD!
my cousin work in RAI and i ask to him if possible to do something about it!
