This might be too easy of a question but...

I'm sure you all know that Sergio Leone dubbed the whistling of the unseen bounty killer at the beginning of FAFDM.

What other director famously dubbed the whistling in one of his movies, and what was the film?

Only whistling that comes to me...could be the whistling in Lean's The Bridge On The River Kwai......

Never heard of this, but my guess is Fritz Lang in M.

Moviesceleton is right.
Really Shocked? It was just a pure guess. Grin That was the only movie I remembered having whistling.

Ha ha, David Lean whistling! Would have been very hard for him to act as an entire batallion of soldiers. The whistling for the film version of "Colonel Bogey" was done by the Irish Guards, I believe, plus a piccolo. I'll have to consult my Lean bio to see if I'm right.

You right, you right Groggy.  That would of been whistling of epic proportions for even Lean.  Wouldn't of been multitracking back then....so likely it didn't even cross his mind. Smiley  I need to either read thread more carefully or lay off the Indio smoke.
