I read on IMDB that the longest version available is 229 mins.

If you have the film on DVD what version is it? I've been wanting to see this for a long time but I am confused what DVD to get if there are multiple versions.

Wow thank you very much, so the film is in two parts?

There is a short intermission at Chapter 44.

Some people don't like the way Disk 1 ends in the middle of an action sequence but it is thought that there is insufficient space on Disk 1 to include everything up to the intermission without sacrificing some quality. A more natural break would be some 3 minutes into Disk 2 after the "swimming" incident but viewers may not then appreciate the subsequent match cut with the TV images of a burnt out car.

On my copy (maybe on all)...U.S...the listing of the tracks on Disc 1 is not correct.  The last few of the "chapters" listed are actually on Disc 2, not on 1 as listed in the jacket.  Yes, my Disc 1 ends with the shooting of Burt Young or so.

I quite like it the way it is. This way I had to keep watching it. Grin

I like it just the way it is as well.  I've watched dozens of movies in the last two to three months and have yet to find any that compare.

Awesome moving signature shades! You better take that down before Jill melts away! Wink

Well, I think it isn't so bad, she obviously watched those films many times and she is still here...
