I read that Lost Highway, David Lynch's movie is going to be made into an interesting type of musical.

lynch's "eraserhead" had some interesting musical interludes as did "wild @ heart."  Grin

Thats a really Weird Musical. Singing dwarfs 'backwards', a song about incest & cherry pie  Grin

I think rocky horror show could look positively pedestrian after this hits the stage.

I still think of the possible outcome if he hadn't turned down The Empire Strikes Back to make Dune.  Shocked

He didn't turn down Empire Strikes Back, but Return Of The Jedi.

Speaking of Lynch movies turned in to musicals, Tom Waits' album Frank's Wild Years is actually based on Eraserhead. Brilliant album, amazing film. The dvd from www.davidlynch.com looks and sounds fantastic.
