I'm not talking whole scenes here - just single shots. My favorites are:

- Max walking along the shoreline
- Noodles' smile
- The bridge before Dominic dies
- Noodles in the train station with steam surrounding him

Add some men!

Perhaps it's a bit of a silly suggestion, but since most of us are into westerns does anyone know any multiplayer online western computer games.  Any members with a bit of pent up frustration could challenge another member to a shoot out.  Sounds kinda fun but I don't know if there's anything suitable out there or if anyone has had this idea before.

... or we could take on the mods. They would be sheriffs and we could try to rob the bank.

The single most beautiful shot in the film is Max walking the beach for me. I just love this scene.

Thanks noodles_leone.

I've done a bit of research but there doesn't seem anything ideal out there.

My ideal would be something like:

You walk down the main street of an old western town. You are dressed in the clothes of your favorite western character.  You stop by the saloon, meet your friends from SLWB and have a couple of drinks maybe a hand of poker.  You go outside and watch Silenzio and rrp have a shoot out in the main street.  Two or three of you get on your horses and go to a nearby ranch where you have a go at riding a wild horse or lassoing cattle.  There are some wolves which have been attacking the rancher's livestock and the rancher asks you if you would help him hunt them down ... lots of other scenarios possible.

There seem to be 2 sorts of sites.  Shoot 'em ups like Gunz - http://www.ijji.com - plays well but not Western themed or Virtual Worlds like Second Life - http://secondlife.com.

In Second Life there are 2 towns called Tombstone - one a bit of a ghost town, the other much more popular.  I didn't find the interface particularly easy and although free western clothes are available, these are very basic and it's quite difficult to create your own. There are shoot outs and you can go into the saloon and have a drink but the overall feel is not particularly satisfying and for the time being falls far short of my ideal.
