To bite his ear off?

Or to rape him?

Does this idiot even know WHO Ennio Morricone is? I seriously doubt it if they're making such an idiotic claim.  Roll Eyes

I have it on DVD. My ex-wife bought it for me. The wisest thing she did in 10 yrs. of our
marriage. It's too bad it lacks the commentary. I would have loved to have heard from
Robert Mulligan.

John Williams is good, but Morricone makes more catchy, and less overdramatic themes.

Don't get me wrong. I love many works of John Williams. I just think Ennio's work is more unique than his.

I like two JW tracks, Duel of Fates and Imperial March... "the rest is silence"

Ennio is Il Maestro. JW is just a follower.

Seriously, I like John Williams and I think he can be great at times, but he's nothing on Ennio.

I agree totally. It amazes me how nobody sounds like Ennio.

Williams is great, but overcooked. Ppk make him out to be something he's not. A composer with fresh new talent is Javier Navarette. Pan's Labyrinth was great. He still isn't up there with Ennio.

John Williams owned Morricone. He just didn't say John was better, he told me he owned Morricone! What a heated argument that was.
