Titoli, doesn't that website say that
My Name is Nobody
will also be released in HD/BR this December?

In the link I posted it says that it will be released on dvd in December in a restored print. It will be a SE with the extra illustrating the restoration work.

But is it also a HD/Blu-ray disc?

How much better can the HD releases possibly be than the SE DVDs that recently came out? The original prints are quite old. I'm just wondering if we will be able to tell a dramatic difference in the quality.
I already have the German SE versions and was eagerly waiting the HD versions, but now I'm not so sure.

What's interesting is that you can tell the HD is sharper and free of the motion-related artifacts on the SD, but I think I prefer the colors of the SD. Clint's skin in HD, for example, seems too pink.

The red dominant can be adjusted with the hue control. Not all the normal dvd players have hue and sharpness controls, don't know if the hd-blueray players have both.

Well, you won't notice much difference, unless your screen is 42" minimum, 50" is better, with 60" being the cooler.
If you got a 32" TV, don't bother. As for 22" ones, any divx will play as good as any dvd, that's how small the resolution is.

I won't be buying this 'better' version, seems to me this is just another 'playing with colors' game, for rich fellas. No thanks.
