and on a standard full screen format to boot

I'm not very happy with the editing. They've cut some crucial moments while the band is playing at the hotel, making it less dynamic.

The older version (which I have taped) is better.

This one's got an excellent interview though.

   The Blues Brothers DVD I have is the original roadshow version.  It's got some interesting added scenes and the making of documentary is a lot of fun too.

Well alot of people say that Kubrick wanted his films to all be fullscreen because thats how he saw it when it was getting made.
