And still watchable. Leone's films are so beautifully edited. It's a shame we don't see the version Leone wanted.

Supposedly, it had more than 10 hours of film shot!

In the voiceover of a video with excerpts from the restored scenes, it is said that the first editing was 10h long. Then Leone cut it to 6h to be distributed in two parts.

For every Leone film that I've seen that has been cut down - DYS, TGTBTU, OUATIA, the deleted scenes only made it better for me. If they find any more deleted scenes for any of these movies, they will only add to the experience for me.
