Has anybody here seen this film starring Sean Connery and Claudia Cardinale about a commander of a failed 1928 Arctic airship expedition who's remembering the events of the "Italia" airship flight, crash and subsequent rescue efforts. Looks interesting to me.

This post gets Agnew's stamp of approval!

Ennio Morricone did the score, and Robert Bolt wrote a good amount of the script (uncredited, however), just for the record. I've not actually seen it, looks interesting, and what a cast!

Yeah, I've been reading up a lot about this film lately. I've been wanting to see it for a long time. I think it's time for me to pick it up. It seems worth it from just the cast alone.

I have already talked about this in another thread. I saw it when released and was bored to death. Probably the whole production was just a ruse devised to export clandestinely money abroad. I don't remember a single note of M.'s score.

Well titoli, I didn't see anything on the film here on the forum, sorry. No harm in starting a thread about it.

Oooh. I like CC's hairstyle in the poster. I definitely have to see this film,
if not for any other reason. :-*

Absolutely. My observation was not a rebuke to you but just a warning to my affectionate readers  that I was repeating myself. Anyway:
