They were running out of ideas in this late SW comedy. So Margheriti turned to the special effect (the ones that today make you laugh) to concoct a story of Dayi Crockett being a fantasm released by a travelling salesman (Trinity
based) and trying to capture with his help a long buried treasure, all against the efforts of a gang of mexican outlaws led by George Rigaud.
Margheriti is not a comedy director and this could have been much better in the hands of a specialized hand. So the only interest should be for the special effects but they are outdated and really can't make you laugh if not thinking at how outmoded they are (and probably already were two years before Star Wars
