Yes,this is yet another post on the OUATITW DVD... :)

But I just thought it might be good to list the features included on this DVD.For I haven't seen too many posts with the relevant facts in a short form.So here it comes:

- published by Paramount

- currently available as Region 1 (NTSC) and Region 2(PAL) DVD's

- released on November 18 in the US and on October 6 in Europe

- 2.35:1 Original Aspect Ratio, 16X9 enhanced

- runtime 2:45:10 (2:38:25 in PAL due to speedup)

- audio: English Dolby Digital 5.1, German DD 2.0 mono, French DD 2.0 mono (R2 version also has Spanish DD 2.0 mono)

- subtitles in English, in the R2 version also in over 20 other languages (most of the languages spoken in Europe are covered); all the extras are subtitled.

- extras:
•Three documents: "An Opera of Violence" (29 minutes), "The Wages of Sin" (20 minutes) and "Something to Do with Death" (18 minutes). A shorter document "Railroad: Revolutionizing the West" (6 minutes)
•Commentary with Sir Christopher Frayling, John Carpenter, Alex Cox, Sheldon Hall, John Milius and Claudia Cardinale
• Location stills
• Prodution stills
• Cast profiles of Henry Fonda, Claudia Cardinale, Jason Robards, Charles Bronson and Gabriele Ferzetti
• Original US Trailer

- the Italian version of the DVD is different: it is longer, has a poorer screen quality and has Italian audio and no subtitles

- the special box set (with the harmonica and the music CD) is only available in Germany

I hope this helps!

Hidden trailer cigar? I've never realized it. I've seen the special features many times so I probably seen it. Which trailer was it do you remember?

C'mon! on the second disc you can highlight the title of the film by going to the top option (I think) and pressing left.  I could be wrong, mess around with it some.... But in the end you should be able to highlight the title then click it... the trailer you find is pretty interesting.

It's an extra, called an "easter Egg", and a more-modern stylized trailer.  I think if you do a search here you find better directions to find it.

OK, no  fighting.  Insert the second disc of the set in your DVD Player and on the Main Menu of the DVD highlight the menu entry 'Documentaries.' Now press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control and the title 'Once Upon A Time In The West' will be highlighted. If you press the 'Enter' key now, you will be treated to a very cool – and brand-new - looking trailer for the movie.

That hurts... Hits me right in the sternum.  Now I know my directions were sub-par (I was joking about that), but I don't see how I was rude.

Thanks guys - that is cool. As if they asked Tarantino to create a trailer...
