One of the best pre-leone style western, it doesn't add anything new to the genre (Buffalo Bill must discover who's selling weapons to the indians and cause a war) but it has a good narrative rhythm (though the firector was probably never taught the meaning of close-up) and a very good sequence with the attack on the fort where one can also appreciate the impressive fall of a stunt from a roof to the ground). So I give it easily a 6\10.

I forgot to add that for the fans of Richard Stuyvesant this is a must as he has a quite big part and one has also the chance to watch him in full activity and, compared to no lightweight as Gordon Scott, how big he was.
Lulli, even without beard and mustaches, is good as usual. I also found out in the final credits that Herlin was credited but I didn't spot him.
