It's a shame. The game had a lot of potential.

I wholeheartedly agree.

While I was playing it, my wife asked, "Did they have to rush to put this out?"  I said I hadn't heard anything about that, to which she replied, "It just doesn't seem finished."

And that pretty much sums up the problem with the game.

I realize I'm not exactly prompt in getting a PS2, but I finished Gun this week, like the previous posters have said, it's pretty easy and I knocked out about half the game in one extended sitting.  Now granted, it's not the hardest game but the actual gameplay is a lot of fun.  The controls are easy enough to get the grasp of, and there's a cool feature called "Quickdraw" where everything slows down and you're able to take out 3, 4 and even more bad guys at a time.

The actual storyline is cool with a lot of good characters, and I felt like it really puts you in its little world.  The action is very well-done, gory as pointed out.  The only thing I can suggest for the people who didn't like it is to play on the harder difficulty setting if they haven't already.  I'm reading that "Hard" is just that. Nobody throws me my own guns and says run...nobody.
