It's a shame. The game had a lot of potential.

I wholeheartedly agree.

While I was playing it, my wife asked, "Did they have to rush to put this out?"  I said I hadn't heard anything about that, to which she replied, "It just doesn't seem finished."

And that pretty much sums up the problem with the game.

I realize I'm not exactly prompt in getting a PS2, but I finished Gun this week, like the previous posters have said, it's pretty easy and I knocked out about half the game in one extended sitting.  Now granted, it's not the hardest game but the actual gameplay is a lot of fun.  The controls are easy enough to get the grasp of, and there's a cool feature called "Quickdraw" where everything slows down and you're able to take out 3, 4 and even more bad guys at a time.

The actual storyline is cool with a lot of good characters, and I felt like it really puts you in its little world.  The action is very well-done, gory as pointed out.  The only thing I can suggest for the people who didn't like it is to play on the harder difficulty setting if they haven't already.  I'm reading that "Hard" is just that.
