As average as a Anthony Steffen movie can get.
The action was scarce but welcomed when on screen, the "funny" mexican sidekick Steffen acquires gets annoying fast and the final confrontation between Steffen and the four main villains is uninspired and feels slapdash (seems like they went out into Almeria and only had two hours to shoot a scene).

Fernando Sancho is introduced 50 minutes in only to be killed off ten minutes later...

There is one female that looks good here Titoli.

4/10

Sorry for the quick review (without a link to the Italian db or IMDB to boot!) but I'm limited to what I can do on this library computer I'm using for the moment.

Perhaps the more popular english title is Too much gold for one gringo.

The female loooks good but it is not memorable. The film could work better if the one playing the mexican sidekick wouldn't have been so inept (and coupled with wooden Steffen that makes tend the movie towards disastruous). Still the rhythm and variety of situations are not bad so I give it 6\10.

This movie turns fairly stupid at times, but I have seen worse and I found it entertaining nevertheless. The old goldminer adds quite a bit of humour to the first half of the movie, but  the chemistry between Trash and Paco is just not there. Perhaps if the role of Paco was played by Tomas Milian or Eli Wallach, and with a bit of better direction, the movie would have turned into something great.

5/10
