Buster Keaton's, Steamboat Bill Jr. at 8:00 PM & The General at 9:15.

Keaton's antics with a butterfly (in The Paleface) inspired the fly sequence in OUTITW, The General is a comic version of the Great Locomotive Chase during the Civil War. It was filmed with real locomotives in Oregon.

A story based loosely on this could be the basis of a great action film.

I saw this a few weeks ago on Google Video with a very good soundtrack added. At first I felt that it didn't fit the images, but it grew on me.


It's an excellent film. Now my 4th favorite of all time.
