Inspired by DVD Savant's review today:

It's been a few months since I've seen it, but I loved this film when I saw it in theaters. It could be more intelligent and in-depth or humorous and satirical, but it does a pretty good job of balancing those two aspects. Aaron Sorkin shows that in spite of the failure of Studio 60 he remains one of Hollywood's greatest screenwriters; I mean, how many writers besides Sorkin would you go see a film for? Maybe Mamet and a few others, but not many. Direction and cinematography aren't up to much (but they needn't be in this kind of film). Tom Hanks and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are excellent while Julia Roberts is well above her usual annoying status. A definite 8/10 from me, and I'll almost certainly be buying this when it comes out. O0

Anyone else seen this (besides Jenkins)?

Me. Good movie. I agree with everything you just said for a change.
