What's the sound quality like?

For the year, and compared to all the other audience recordings of VdGG, pretty good. One of the 2 or 3 best of the early phase up to 1972. And it contains some stuff not on any of the other known concerts.

You can download it here:

http://halsprogressiverockblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Van%20Der%20Graaf%20Generator

But 3 of the songs of this download option are missing the last minute for unknown reasons. But I didn't find it anywhere else so far.

I love VdGG. The best band in the known universe.

Am enjoying Radiohead's very low-key King of Limbs.
It's their worst effort, no doubt. There's one or two ok songs and that's it. But I gotta admit I've only listened it through twice - I've heard people say it grows on you slowly.
OK, I got it for Christmas present and after 3 or 4 rounds of listening within 24 hours I have to admit that it's not a shitty record after all. I think the electronic sounds scared me off at first but I'm getting over it. And what at first seemed like a shameless go for the trendy dubstep now appears as genuinely interesting layered rhythmics.

Theme from M.A.S.H. - Brady Winterstein

It starts at 5'23''.

A studio version of this was continuously on TSF radio in Paris where I spent the Xmas holiday, can't find it on youtube.
