I'm not going to watch the whole show tonight, as there's only a few categories I care about. But I hope for the following to win in:

Best Actor (Mickey Rourke)
Best Supporting Actor (Heath Ledger)
Best Supporting Actress (Marissa Tomei)
Best Original Song ("The Wrestler" - Bruce Springsteen)
Best TV Comedy (The Office)

If two or three of those win, I'll be happy. I don't really care what everything else goes to, though.

Do you have a link to the list?

I want Frank Langella for Best Actor and Amy Adams for Best Supporting Actress. Otherwise I don't know the nominations that well.

I've actually seen very few of these (only seen one of the Best Picture nominees)... I don't particularly care about this show though. Are they deliberately picking the most obscure films possible?

I'm not sure if I want Streep or Jolie to win Best Actress - both were great.

Langella definitely.

I would love Adams to win Best Supporting Actress, Viola Davis wouldn't be a bad pick either.

Ledger's probably a shoe-in given his weak competiton; Hoffman has a decent shot and maybe Fiennes, but I can't imagine Tropic Thunder performances as winning this award.

WTF is with Howard getting a nomination for Frost/Nixon? The direction was the worst part of the film.

John Adams for any and all of the TV stuff. Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti in particular. (But how the fuck does Jonathan Rhys-Meyers get a nod for The Tudors? Besides being badly miscast, he's DREADFUL. Natalie Dormer and Jeremy Northam are far more deserving of recognition.)

As much as I like Tom Wilkinson I'd rather Stephen Dillane have gotten the nod for John Adams.

Sean Penn should win Best Actor Drama, but Mickey Rourke will win because his role is more sympathetic.

Nice speech by Nolan, I noticed a lot of guests were uncomfortable with clapping, and many (especially Winslet) were on the verge of tears.

Four wins for John Adams! Afro There's never been a better screen couple than Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney.
