I voted OUTITW as DVD of the year at DVDBEAVER.com
Exellent re-mastering,5.1 sound, great commentary, full of special features, nice cover-art design and unbelievable price(I paid $11.95) What's not to like? This is  definitely
must-get DVD.

I think the DVD bonus could have been richier.

For example, why hasn't Quentin Tarantino been interviwed?

He said many times that Leone is his all time favourite movie maker, and Kill Bill is a hommage to him in many ways.

I think it would be extremely interesting to have Tarantino speaking about the technical and artistic aspects of the movie.

Tarrantino is espcially fond of GBU, perhaps in the redux DVD he will be featured.

I don't want to be a killjoy, but I think Tarantino has enough to do, making all those great extras for his own movies. He even made a commentary for True Romance, which he didn't direct himself..!

He might talk quite a bit about Leone on the dvd of Kill Bill, I think.

Yes, indeed. My point is that I'm not satisfied with the DVD bonuses.

Bertolucci is a very good director, but I don't believe him when he says that it was HIS idea to inrodce a woman in the film.

Same thing with the others, Carpenter, Cardinale, Delli Colli.

It seemed to me these people wanted to talk about themselves and not about Leone.

I haven't heard all of it, but Sir Christopher Frayling's commentary seems very informative and entertaining.

Might be that this is the best thing possible, as actors and directors often are pretty egoistic and tend to want to talk more about themself.

Agreed.  Frayling's bits in the documentaries were the best. I did think it was interesting to actually hear from those involved (Cardinale, Ferzetti, Bertolucci), even if what they say isn't 100% correct. It's been thirty-five years, after all.

Sure.

What I like more in DVD bonus are deleted scenes. (For example in GBU, In the mood for love, 6th sens) and I regret this lack in OUTIW.

But I really appreciate packaging and bonus.

Nobody bought OUATIA De Luxe Edition ? I mean it could be a good competitor .

The Leopard is also very good with postcards and interviews with.... Claudia , a little bit older than in OUATIW. She said exactly the same thing: people talk me about my character in this movie, it is the best I ever played ...and so on.

I take it that the voting has ended? For I couldn't find any vote of the year on their web site.
