The setting is early America during the oil boom. An elderly, down on his luck 'oil man', Mr. Cox finds himself in the town of Henrietta. Using unconventional methods, he convinces himself and local Don Day that there is oil on Day's land. The financially strapped Day puts everything into finding oil...but at what cost?

If you're a fan of drama and a great story filled with marvelous acting, look no further than "The Stars Fell on Henrietta." This is one gem of a little movie that was produced by Clint Eastwood and distributed by his Malpaso Production Company and it shows. At times it feels like a film directed by Clint.

Upon release, the film wasn't advertised much and had a limited release which surprises me. It's still not out on DVD either and this makes me mad. This is a film I need in my collection. The cast is outstanding. Robert Duvall who is exceptional as usual, stars alongside Aiden Quinn, Francis Fisher,  Brian Denneyhe, and  Billy Bob Thornton.

This is a must see for all drama film lover's!
