The movie has been in development hell for the longest time and i would have rather have David Hayter direct than Zack Synder but at least someone finally made it. For something funny to read you should check out the Sam Hamm script its HILARIOUS.

That smashing pumpkins song fits perfectly even though it was made for Batman & Robin.

I'm excited for this movie, but, Zack Snyder scares me shitless when it comes to adapting my favorite comic. Remember 300?

I remember 300 rocking my nuts off. Still can't find 'em.

300 would have been a lot better if it wasn't a slow-motion ode to Peckinpah. I wonder how short the movie would have been if it was done in real time? I liked the visuals of 300--that was about all it had going for it as an adaption, well, the same could be said for the graphic novel as well. Its story was never the strongest. Acting sucked and felt corny. I felt like I watching a Total Gym infomercial at certain times. It was just okay.

Watchmen is a dialogue driven story and a work of great literature. They don't just yell about freedom. Snyder has a lot to prove and a ton to lose. I'm hoping for the best. Once again, the trailer looks promising and Rorschach's voice sounds just like I imagined it.

Rorschach. It's a quote from his journal.

Doesnt the Comedian look like Robert Downey Jr. in the Vietnam flashback?

YES!

In fact, Robert Downey Jr. should have been the Comedian rather than Iron Man. Raping people, killing, etc.

He would have made the Comedian more likeable and thats not the Comedian. I like the fact Synder chose mostly unknown actors to potray the characters.
