A twisted take on 'Little Red Riding Hood' with a teenage juvenile delinquent (Reese Withers p o o n) on the run from a social worker (Kiefer Sutherland) traveling to her grandmother's house and being hounded by a charming, but sadistic, serial killer/pedophile.

What a gem of a film! This is a cult-classic for a reason. I finally watched this for the first time tonight and I gotta say I was blown away. This is black-comedy at it's absolute finest. Reese Withers p o o n is out of this world brilliant here. She owns this role right from the get go. Kiefer Sutherland turns in a great performance as well, being every bit as believable as the serial killer/pedophile is supposed to be.

I also want to point out that the musical score by Danny Elfman is strangely weird but in a great way. It fits the film perfectly and makes it even better. If you have not seen "Freeway", do yourself a favor and do so!
