Well, Major, I shall see you in Texas!

I've been looking forward to this one.  I loved the Platoon knock-off at the beginning of the trailer with Ben Stiller taking over for Wilem Dafoe.  And also, I've always liked Robert Downey JR in comedy and here as an Australian who undergoes surgery to become a black man, that has to be good. ;D

IMDB never surprises me though, tons of posts talking about how this movie is racist.  I think just about everything is now. ::)

Well that's a matter of opinion.
I find him charismatic and charming.
I won't however go see everything with him in it.
In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw Ben Stiller movie in the theatre.
Maybe Meet the Fockers, and that wasn't very good.
The trailer for this new movie has failed to give me even a smile.
But it is rather original. I may see it.

This post gets Agnew's stamp of approval!

It looks like a movie I might watch on video or Pay-Per-View when I'm bored. Definitely not gonna bother seeing it in theaters.

Well, I don't hate Stiller, I'm just not that big of a fan. I just don't find him funny, personally. He's had a couple good performances to me but other than that I think he try's to hard to be funny.

Ben Stiller's also directing. Yes, that is a good thing.

The Cable Guy is a masterpiece, Zoolander is very funny, and Reality Bites at least captures the era well. He's never directed a bad film, although admittedly he's starred in plenty.

And how does it have anything to do with Ben Stiller?

Ohhh, okay.

I enjoyed the Cable Guy but it wasn't too special.

Cable Guy makes me want to blow my head off. This movie makes me want to wear Blackface.
