haha, good or bad? That's a little hard not to have a shade of gray area, don't you think?

Perhaps. And I do take everyone elses reviews into consideration. And I've never seen so many luke-warm to negative reaction to David Fincher's latest film.

I'll rate good or bad, and if I find any gray area I'll mention it.  Cheesy

Killer's Kiss - ?/10 - Not sure what I want to say right away. Most of the film is pretty routine and cookie-cutter, even dull, but the last fifteen minutes or so are extraordinary - particularly the hand-to-hand fight in the storage room. It wasn't that involving giving how tertiary the plot and characters were, but I feel a need to recognize the climax. I'll have to chew it over a bit, but I did enjoy it more than The Killing - which implies that I have to rewatch that one some time.

The Killing is pretty much perfect. I don't even think Jenkins can provide any potential flaws.

Claudia, we need you to appear in LOST COMMAND. It's gonna revolutionize the war genre. What did you think of the script?

Again, the question has to be asked about Groggy: crazy . . . or just insane?

The latter.

There is a difference between the two, but unless you are a psychologist or a lawyer you are unqualified to pronounce me either.

The Lady Eve - 7/10 - Entertaining but nothing really special. It had some good lines and gags but I was a bit underwhelmed. Although, I do love Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda is quite adept at screwball comedy.

TCM gave me rewatches of...

The Children's Hour - 9/10 - Second viewing.

The War Wagon - 6/10 - I watched this flick numerous times as a kid but it's been almost a decade since I've seen it. A pretty typical late-career Duke vehicle, worth watching mainly for the chemistry between Duke and Kirk Douglas - too bad it couldn't have been in a better film. The plot's very basic and the action scenes vary from excellent to disappointing (the actual heist is pretty anti-climactic, although I still love the scene where they trick the Indian chief into drinking the nitro), but at least it's worth watching.

This makes five feature-length films watched in the last 24 hours. For me, that's some kind of record - especially considering most of the remaining time was spent sleeping, in class, or doing laundry.

Oh I'm sure he can find some flaws. Give it time.
