Seems to confirm my suspicions - the gimmick is the film I'm assuming. Had that problem with Monster House, a similar 3D animated film.

Wolfen - 3/10

Don't let Michael Wadleigh drive you around for an hour and a half just to show you a couple of wolves.

Black Narcissus (1947) Criterion Collection 8/10 sort of surrealistic look to it all, amazingly supposed to be shot all in the UK & studio.

Average, but with a couple of extraordinary jokes.

Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1939)- I wish Robert Donat did more movies. Sadly his poor health prevented that. He's a very underrated actor.

The Outlaw Josey Wales-You all know I enjoyed this one, or esle I wouldn't be posting here.

I agree. A great film and a great actor. 9/10.

I've seen it. I remember laughing. But the thing is that I don't really care for this kind of movies unless they have Evil Dead 2/Braindead kinda humor, like Buster Keaton with tons of blood. The references to horror directors were nice to spot in Night of the Creeps but other than that there were few jokes that I found funny. But it was funny to notice that the worms were made better than in Slither...

A Farewell to Arms (1932) - 7/10
I really cared for the main couple but their story didn't quite reach the epic scale they would have deserved. The last scene was too sugary and overacted, and what seemed to me like an important part of the story was realized as a lame montage (if it wasn't important why so long montage?) All in all 80 minutes just seems too short a time for this movie. I guess I should read the novel.

A Short Film About Killing (1988) - 8.5/10
I remember liking A Short Film About Love better. I'll watch The Double Life of Veronique at some point. The Ten Commandments was on the telly a couple of years ago but I was still in VHS age then so I missed most of the episodes and now I can't find a DVD with Finnish subtitles...
