Mozart and the Dolomites (2006) A visual score of Mozart's Requiem. I saw this in the store window of the Cooperativa Cortina in Cortina d'Ampezzo back in September for 20 Euro's there got it for $10 here. WoW very cool a great way to listen to it. 10/10

Here is a poor sample you should see it on the DVD.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YM4dnEr-QpI

The Strange Loves of Martha Ivers (1946) Director, Lewis Milestone with Barbara Stanwyck, Van Heflin, Lizabeth Scott, Kirk Douglas, A great noir with Lizabeth Scott as HOT as ever, on TCM just got finished. This is a great Van Heflin flick check it out. 8/10

The Big Combo (1955) dir Joseph H. Lewis, with Cornel Wilde, a great slightly over wound and the top Richard Conte in this one, Brian Donlevy, Jean Wallace, Susan Lowell, Robert Middleton, Lee Van Cleef, and Earl Holliman. "First is first and second is nobody" Its good to see Van Cleef in this. 7/10

Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005) - 0.7/10

As low as it can go, and disgusting for that matter.

The War of the Roses (1989) - 6.5/10

Am I the only one to think the fault for most that happened was hers?

The Replacements 4.5 or 5/6

Funny movie and Langton is hawt as a cheer leader  Cheesy

Serenity......meh , lost interest quickly

Ninja Strikes Back 4/6

Not much of a plot but very entertaining , I'm impressed by the globetrotting considering the ultra low budget.......starring imitator Bruce Le and the villain is none other than Oddjob Harold Sakata Smiley

Le plays an ex-con who gets out of prison in Rome and he has decided to go legit......but the ambassador needs his help cuz his daughters been kidnapped.

Le also has to face his friend (superkicker Wang Jang Lee , he's a delight to watch in action) who has gone over to the dark side.

Why have Bolo in this movie if you're not gonna give him a decent 5 min fight  Roll Eyes

Texas, adios - 7/10 seems fair to me

I pretty much agree with what Shobary wrote: the plot twist makes it more boring. In fact, when I read on the DVD cover that there's a surprise plot twist, I expected it to be something like that... The middle part progresses too slowly, with too much talking and not too much character depth - I don't know whether it's the writing, the directing or the acting, but the way some characters acted did not seem very thought out - so if it weren't for the ending, it wouldn't be very exciting to watch. But the ending redeems it.

Boarding Gate (2007)

A torture, maybe a 1.5 or a 2 out of 10.

That about confirms its rating.

The Road

Its the perfect cast and atmosphere but I felt no emotion for the characters. And I love the book.

The Grissom Gang (1971) Dir Robert Aldrich, fictional account of a heiress kidnapping in Prohibition Missouri a remake of a 1948 British Film entitled "No Orchids For Miss Blandish",  this had some great performances but on a whole should have been trimmed down, it was laden with way too many interior shots and had the misfortune to cast Kim Darby in the lead female role. Scott Wilson is Slim Grissom retarded co leader of a bunch of miscreants along with a greasy and  slimy Tony Musante who plays Eddie Hagan, but  Ma Grissom (Irene Dailey who is great as the over the top matriarch) really calls the shots. Joey Faye is another gang member named Woppy, and Ralph Waite is gang member Mace. Don Keefer is alcoholic Doc Grissom who holds no power in the gang. TV veteran Robert Lansing is a private eye  named Dave Fenner, and Connie Stevens is Anna Borg a floosie nightclub singer.  It had all the right elements but is way too long and not as a whole that interesting. Both Scott Wilson & Tony Musante put in great performances, but sound track is also not that good. A miss for Aldrich 6/10

Slumdog Millionaire - 9/10 - 3rd viewing. Not nearly as fun on DVD as in theaters, even though I watched it with my brothers.

Gerry (2002) - near 6/10

Thought it was interesting enough. But I won't watch it again any time soon.
