Possibly we do and I confused him for someone else. If that's the case, though, it says a lot about his "importance" to the movie.

If I recall, the old bald man is Che in disguise. Could be mistaking which part of the film you're talking about, but I'm pretty sure I'm not.

Knife in the Water (1962) - 8/10. A couple pick up a hitchhiker and take him sailing with them. From this simple Hemingwayesque situation emerges . . . what, a political parable, existentialist statement, or merely an exploration of the dynamics between people in a confined space? Whatever, it makes for great cinema: http://www.hulu.com/watch/141730/knife-in-the-water

I always thought it was a thriller.

In Cold Blood - 9/10 - Almost perfect adaptation of Truman Capote's book. Pretty much everything clicks: fine performances, excellent editing, striking cinematography, a wonderful score. The only problem is the moralizing about capital punishment towards the end, but I can accept that all things considered.

In spite of the title this always put me to sleep. Cool

Phone Booth (2002) The kind of brainless stuff Hollywood does all the time, but rarely well. This time it was done well. Actually this was my second vision and I presume there will be a third in the future. 7\10

Then where are the thrills?

If I remember well (I saw the movie at a theatre in the early '70's and again on tv in the '80's. I've got the dvd but still to watch) there's a murder and a mystery about what happened to the corpse. But I may be wrong.

I liked the way how the movie juxtaposes the two criminals - who couldn't have done the murders alone but together formed sorta third person - with citizens of a state which doesn't allow murder but which, as a collective, executes people.

The Caine Mutiny (1954) - 6.5/10
