That would make sense. Still kind of bothered me though.

Animal House - 5/10 - Whatever. John Belushi has some scattered funny bits (the ladder scene was great) and John Vernon is hilarious but I didn't get much out of it.

Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1969) The variation on the known themes (the mole people) are as uninventive and crappy as anything.  I give it 5\10 because the pace is fast.

I give it one point for Heston's cameo, one point for Victor Buono, and one point for Richard Zanuck's girlfriend.

That's what you get, Drink, for being such an annoying Melville fanboy.

I Am a Fugitive From a Chain-Gang (1932) Still one of the best MIP movies, evidently pre-code made. Muni gives a good performance which becomes huge when he's notified in bed the second pardon denial from the commission. The car chase is as good as any made subsequently. 8\10

DEATH WISH 5: THE FACE OF DEATH
(1994)

ZERO.
NIL.
NOTHING.
NOWT.
NADA.
A BLACK HOLE.

In all seriousness, I watched this on TV over t'bank holiday weekend while drunk, thought it would be amusing in an ironic sort of way.
It wasn't.
(FYI I rarely drink these days due to unpleasant errors of judgement like this.)
Hombres, I could spend literally all night explaining it's myriad faults; yes after only 1 viewing (or a half really, I was semi-conscious) it has burnt an indelible scar upon my soul. However in the interests of brevity and economy I will explain this seriously depressing film as being so for 2 reasons:
1. It is without any artistic merits whatsoever
2. It serves as a bitter reminder of just how rapidly Harmonica's career slid to the bargain basement

One good point however is that it wasn't directed by Michael Winner.

I'm sort of joking giving this "film" a review, but as this was the last film I saw I felt compelled to give it a mark for your approval....

But please: don't watch....for Charlie's sake!

Victor Buono is immemorable: his presence is a good reason to take away one point.

Double Team (1997) - 3/10

Watched the first 30 minutes or so... Just how a bad action flick should be made.

The I Inside (2003) - 5/10

The first half is very interesting but then with all the false twists rolling one after another you lose interest for what really happened. It is still watchable, but I doubt you'll remember much from the second half the next day.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) - 4/10

Embarrassing on more than one occasion. Ray Walston and Sean Penn are the real show.

This is probably the only movie where Claudia Cardinale really strikes me as hot.

How is that even possible?

Claudia, we need you to appear in LOST COMMAND. It's gonna revolutionize the war genre. What did you think of the script?

I've seen the movie, it's good. I've even seen the pointless remake Welcome to Collinwood for some reason.

It had two meanings:

how can you have not found her hot or attractive in anything else?

two, She's about 3-4 years from her prime. I'd say she looks the best in Zurlini's Girl With a Suitcase. My signature picture is from the movie if you didn't know.

Obviously beauty is subjective I just found it hard to believe. We seem to have very different taste in women, oh well.

The Man Who Would Be King - 8/10 - 5th viewing. As before, I think it's a fun, solid piece of work on the whole, but there's something wrong with it that I can't quite put my finger on.

Nighthawks (1981) - 5/10

Ridiculous flick all around, somewhat entertaining.
