You'll remember it the next time you are ordering a burger  ;)

No I won't: I don't eat burgers and I'm always on time. :D

A big hand For the Little Lady (1966) not bad for what it is, 6/10

There Was a Father (1942) - 10/10. Yasujiro Ozu's wartime story of parental sacrifice, rendered in his mature, less-is-more style. (You will believe that static shots convey action!). The amazing thing is that this film, endorsed by the military censors of its day, can, with its lack of cant and jingoism, please today's audiences as well (compare it to the crap Kurosawa was making at the same time). Ozu discovered that emotion can be evoked by actors (such as Chishu Ryu, the lead here) who refrain from emoting, and that this technique could work equally well in films made under the Militarists, the American Occupation Forces, and modern democratic Japan. This masterpiece marks the start of a 20-year run of perfect films.

Burn After Reading - 7/10 - Really clever plotting but only sporadically funny. Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand were hysterical, everyone else - meh. It's worth watching for the big moments like Pitt and Malkovich's confrontation and Clooney's freak out.

I nearly pissed myself when I watched it.

The Trial (1962) - 7/10
I enjoyed it as a dive into a nightmare, but Jesus some parts were dull...

It actually grows on you. I quite didn't knew what to think of it when I first saw it in theater (appart from the scene with Pitt in the cupboard, which is my biggest laugh in a movie theater). Now I really like the movie.

The Departed 10/10

I keep watching this movie over and over. What other film director over 70 years old could direct a scene where you see muscular black guys and Leonardo DiCaprio doing sport in a prison cell with loud irish hardrock?

The Departed is a great movie if you don't take it seriously. O0

Juno (2007) - 7.5/10

I never thought I'll like this but I think it's a good movie. As a matter of fact, I can't remember what newer movie I rated as high... :-\

Hate what? The movie itself or the fact that I liked it (and rated it high)?

I knew that I wouldn't come out right. I don't care about your opinion so much that I hate you for disagreeing with me. Oh well. :D

Cool Runnings (1993) - 4/10

This used to be a classic like no other back in the days, now I (finally) see it was all just a lurid way to make a lot of money. A lot of money.
