Ok, and how could that be one of the great endings in movie history?

did you see it? you have to see art, you can't have it told to you.

ever have someone try to explain the Mona Lisa to someone who has never seen it?

The ecstasy of gold sequence is just a Mexican running around in a cemetery for four minutes looking for a grave. When you watch it, it's more than that.

That's more or less true. But on the other hand you can explain art. But it is not easy. If I try to do it the words I use and the syntax have to reflect my emotions, and every word is precious.. always hard work

I have seen Die Harder, but I can't remember the ending. So it wasn't anything special for me. Well, the whole film was nothing special, but a well made actioner.

I thought you had seen the ending and my post would just remind you of it. If you haven't seen it, my post wouldn't do jack for you

I said that I have seen it, but that was 20 years ago. Actually I do remember not very much from the film. The action scenes were well made and I liked it, but don't ask me for any details. Not the kind of movie which sticks in my mind. It was entertaining, but not remarkable.

Movies from all genres and ages and countries. Well, not all, but from a lot. And I like westerns very much.

Special are those which are able to overwhelm me while watching them.
The Wild Bunch, 2001, 8 1/2, OuTW, Mulholland Drive, Touch of Evil, Old Boy, The Hour of the Wolf, The State of the Things, Madame de ... , Tierra etc.

I think it's quotable, a few of my fav. lines are:

"What sets off the metal detectors first? The lead in your ass or a shit in your brain?" [walks out of the office] "..fat fuck."

Powell: "Hey John, you're not pissing somebody else's pool, are you?"
McClane: "Yeah, and I'm fresh outta chlorine."

McClane: "You're not such as asshole after all."
Maj. Grant: "No, you're right, I'm just your kinda asshole."

I saw Django about two months ago, and when I found out that Nero was the one playing Esperanza, the movie became a little more badass.

I just found this on IMDB:

"In the "Making of" featurette for Die Hard: With a Vengeance, Reginald VelJohnson said that after his appearances in the first two "Die Hard" films, he would be frequently teased and joked at by friends and people on the street for his character's obsession with Twinkies, with some people even going so far as to buy Twinkies and throw them into his car while he was inside, and saying things like, "Oh we knew you wanted some of those"."

For me, classic is anything above and including 4/5.
About, 35 out of the thousand movies I've seen have a rating of 4.5+/5
