The Fall (2006) - 3/10Boy oh boy did I hate this fucking movie. Not too big into the whole fantasy thing to boot.
Y'know what? I'm going to stop debating the merits of SILENCE except with people who have seen the movie. Thus far, that's only Mr. Power. The rest of you, I'll be happy to discuss the topic of passion projects or art versus entertainment or anything else, but no more wasting time debating a movie you (are lucky enough to) haven't even seen
OUATITW is a good example of a film in which you may occasionally be bored for a few minutes here or there,
I don't think I have debated the merits of SILENCE even once with you and I'm pretty sure you've misinterpreted most of my comments on the topic while I've been careful to include a "I'm not talking about Silence, which is probably as dull and boring as you guys who have seen it say it is, here" special drinkanddestroy disclaimer in each of them. That being said:Minority Report 8/1010th viewing or so and still the same feeling: yes, the ending is weird, yes, the Spielbergian broken familly is getting old in this century and yes, the full CGI sequences (the car ones) haven't aged well. But I have rarely seen such a well directed film. And by "rarely" I mean exactly 9 times.Once Upon A Time In The WestCasinoThe GoodfellasThe DepartedFight ClubZodiacThe Social NetworkPsychoGravity
Me not for a single second. In OUTA on the other hand I lose interest here and there, but not so much that I get bored.
I do not either get bored. In OUATITW or OUATIA. I was just saying that I can see some people being bored in some parts of OUATITW.
Moonlight (2016) wasn't impressed, had trouble staying awake. meh/10
Watch some good movies!
You mean like SILENCE?
Also, Drink hated it, so it must be really good.
I'm starting to come around to this way of thinking too.
