Corruption (1963) - aka  La corruzione. An incredibly heavy-handed film with very preachy dialogue that is only interesting when Rosanna Schiaffino is on screen because virtually everything else beats you over the head with ham-fisted dialogue. Schiaffino's scenes are visually interesting (outside of her beauty) and cinematic, and it could have been on the level of something like I Knew Her Well (1965) or Girl With a Suitcase (1961) if the filmmakers trusted the audience even a little bit.  C-

Correct, I fixed my original post (I know what The Yellow Butterfly is, maybe I had a senior moment !).
Anyway, I should add that Pat Boone put up his own money to finish the picture, which had a super-quick shooting schedule anyway.  And the film was restored, and in Cinemascope but filmed in B&W.  I'm not sure I've seen many Cinemascope in B&W, but there are some.

"Heart of the Beast" 2026.  I rate 7/10, I liked this.

Brad Pitt is a retired soldier with PSTD and went on a hunting/fishing trip with his army service dog Odin, who is also a victim of PSTD.  Basically, Pitt and Odin have to travel wild country and depend on each other.
