I've recently seen HK highest ever grossing film 'Infernal affairs' and it's prequel'Inferal affairs 2' I'm not really a HK movie fan though it is one of the best films I've seen in 2003. Great plot,nice acting and directing. It's story about special agent who penatrate underworld society VS mafia informer who acting a cop. I'd like to recommand this movie you guys. I'm sure many of you will enjoy it.

I Never Seen it, But I would. Rumor has it that Marty Scorsese may remake this film.

Sounds great! Scorses would be excellent choice.

Aren't there 3 of these films? Never seen any of them, but will have to do so before the remake.

Yes there are 3 parts. My favorite is Part 2.

Infernal Affairs is a great film. It is sort of Michael Mann meets Sergio Leone - and then it is a police thriller on top! SUPERB.
I can only recommend it to your all.

Have not yet seen part 2 and 3, but the reviews I have read suggest that they can not live up to the original. Part 2 is a prequal, by the way.

Have now seen it. WOW. Tony Leung must be one of todays great actors (for proof, take a look at his work with Wong Kar-Wai). I wonder who will play his part in the Scorsese remake. Damon or DiCaprio?

I agree with you. Tony Leung is truly a great actor.
Other than his works with Wong Kar-wai, take look at ones with Hou Hsiao-hsien, Yimou Zhang and Tran Anh Hung.

Speaking of remake, my guess would be Dicarprio playing Tony Leung's part because I think Damon fits better in evil character.
