I saw that movie many years ago, and I found it very entertaining. I recall that Clint was a sheriff somewhere in Arizona who starts capturing  a runaway mestizo in the desert. Afterwards, he flies to NY to bring a criminal back to Arizona. His way of handling the case reminds me a bit of the TV series McCloud (Dennis Weaver) .

I wish I could remember the music. It's by Lalo Schifrin, around the time he did Bullitt, so it's probably pretty good . . .

Well, I just finished watching that movie again. I have to make a correction from my previous post: the guy Coogan was chasing at the beginning was not a mestizo, but a Navajo called Running Bear (Rudy Díaz). Only one portion of the musical score is catchy, but it is played in very few scenes. Coogan's trip to NY definitely changes his way of treating prisoners (he wouldn't let Running Bear smoke a cigarette after he caught him, but in contrast he will offer one to James Ringerman when extraditing him back to Arizona). I found quite funny Clint's annoyance whenever someone asks he if he is from Texas (this happens several times during the movie).  ;D

Your connection with Mcloud is right Bandolero. The TV Series was a spin off from Coogans Bluff.

Too bad it's not available.

The LP is extremely rare and no CD was ever made to the best of my knowledge. However, I think this is better than nothing..... >:D
