Thanks for this TB, I'll get around to it when I can. I like Mitchum and love Cavett's show.

LVC had a small stint on the Cavett show as well. Never seen the interview but somebody at the SWWB was talking about it.
Cavett's show was an excellent late night talk show. As much as I like Conan (can't stand Letterman or Leno. Craig Ferguson is pretty cool though!) but I must admit no time is spent with the celebrities (which in some cases is a good thing since most of the celebs we have now ideas are bores to listen to).

You're welcome FC. You're going to love this interview. Robert Mitchum was really an original. And, you're right about Cavett. He could really give a great interview. Very entertaining man and funny at times. He's much better than Letterman and Leno.
