J.D. Salinger, the famously reclusive author whose 1951 novel, "The Catcher in the Rye," became a touchstone for generations of readers, has died. He was 91.

Read it in High School. Didn't really touch a chord even though, for my age at the time, it should have.
Interesting read nonetheless.
I enjoy stories about nothing.

I'm going to be honest and say I assumed he passed 20-30 years ago. 'Catcher' is a great book. RIP.
